He graduated from the Secondary Technical School, worked as a textile designer, later as an arranger. He has been painting since 1958, and had his first exhibition in Vienna. A highly regarded artist with a distinctive style. The frequent themes of his paintings are figurative compositions, landscapes, bouquets or mythological scenes. Auction prices range in the tens of thousands.
